New Approach to Home Sales
Glendale CA - What does an elderly father walking out of a bathroom without his shorts has in common with nectar-happy humming birds drinking from a colorful yard sign? They're both the latest advertising brain-child of the self-proclaimed "Best thing to happen to Real Estate"—Right Home.

"We want people to realize real estate doesn't have to be so stressful," says Right Home Marketing Director Steve Williams. "Our ads simply exaggerate the only thing outside our control."

The Glendale-based real-estate firm has developed a brick-and-mortar service that focuses on three major areas—low cost, less risk and more convenience. Although homeowners appear receptive to the benefits, especially the low-cost, some area Realtors® are less gleeful.

"Although we've received a couple of letters from upset Realtors comparing us to the Antichrist, we've mainly gone unnoticed," says Williams. "It's not our intention to make life difficult; we just think we have a more consumer-friendly approach to the same task."

Right Home shares the "alternative" spotlight with other entrants into the field such as Ehome, Explore realty, Zip realty and several others who believe there is a better way to buy or sell a home. "Several years ago, the notion of providing real estate services that were any different from the norm was quickly extinguished," says Williams. "But with the free flow of listing information currently on the Internet, and the willingness of consumers to get more involved, the door to alternative methods isn't just cracked, its wide open."

Whether or not Right Home or others like it represent the future of real estate is yet to be seen. However, there's no doubt that the process of buying or selling a home, like many other necessary human tasks, will soon seem very different from the way our parents did it. Especially if our parents were Realtors.
