Attorneys shall be involved in the following areas:

  • Evaluation of the comparative market analysis and recommendations to the proposed marketing plan and list price. In English, what’s the property worth?

  • Evaluation, recommendations and approval of theAn attorney at your side listing documents prior to signing by the senior citizen

  • Evaluation of the appraisal of the property, if one obtained for listing

  • Availability for questions by seller during the marketing period

  • Evaluation, recommendations and approval of the Offer and Counter Offers prior to signing by the senior citizen

  • Evaluation, recommendations and approval of the escrow documents and amendments.

  • Recommendations and Approval of the method of transfer of proceeds from the sale to the seller or seller’s account

  • Debriefing and evaluation after the close

What If I Don’t Want An Attorney Involved?

No obligation whatsoever. If a senior client is sophisticated in real estate matters or feels confident enough not to need it, or already has the trusted advice of a family member or that of an expert, then an independent attorney does not need to be involved. We will simply ask for a waiver to be signed stating that the service was offered by Right Home® but the client declined.

In such instances, Right Home® will reduce its fees by the amount that would have been paid to the independent attorney had the client chosen to use the services of one. Seniors are still very safe because the law imposes fiduciary duties and obligations upon us to look out for the best interest of our clients and we will always treat our clients like we would treat a family member.

Right Home® does reserve itself the right to insist on an attorney’s approval at its own discretion if we find it necessary.
